reelfoot lake fishing report

Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
December 10th, 2004

There's only one species to report, but it's the ever popular crappie and they're biting well.

Anglers have been bringing in some really nice slabs on the north end of the lake out from the air park. They're catching them in 3 feet of water, yep, three feet. Minnows, jigs and jigs tipped with minnows have all been working.

The best fishing is probably going to be after 8:00 a.m. or so as it warms up a little.

Once you come in from duck hunting you might want to give them a try. As Jackie said, "It's a no lose situation at this time, Ducks and Crappie". One or the other should produce some action.
