reelfoot lake fishing report

Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
February 20th, 2004

News has been bad on the Reelfoot fishing scene this week. Last week provided some nice catches of crappie and most folks were optimistic that it would continue. But, since Saturday we've gotten a lot of reports and they haven't been good.

Not sure what's going on, but crappie fishing has been tough going. Really not much else to say, so we'll keep it brief. No reports on other species.

As always this time of year, Fish Slow, Fish Deep (12+ feet) and once you find em stay with em. Also, when fishing is tough it's usually best to try minnows.

You never know if they're biting til you get out there. So, if you find a nice day to fish, give it a try. Things could turn around any day. That's just the way fishing is.

We'll post any news as we get it.

   Good Fishin!
