Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for: Reelfoot Lake is above pool level, water temps are 55 to 58 degree range. Bluegill: Good. The bluegill are being caught on grizzly jigs and wax worms fishing shallow water beds. Crappie: Good. Spawn is almost here. Some males are being caught on the shallow beds. Some nice size crappie are being caught in 6-12' water fishing 1-2' off the bottom, drifting minnows. Remember, the limit is 30 Crappie per day per man. There are no size limits on Reelfoot Lake. Bass: Good Some fish are being caught in the spawning areas 2-4' deep around pads, root wads, shallow trees. Catfish: Starting to Bite. Some fish are being caught in the mouth of ditches where current is present. Stripes: No Report
