Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
April 12, 2010
                                    

   Reelfoot Lake is 8 - 10" above pool level, water temps are 65 to 67 degree range. Water color is good over the entire lake.

   Bluegill: Good. The bluegill are being caught on popeye jigs and wax worms fishing shallow water beds.

   Crappie: Good. Spawn is here and the bite is on! Some are being caught on the shallow beds around the trees and grass. Some crappie are being caught in 8-14' water fishing 1-2' off the bottom, drifting minnows. Remember, the limit is 30 Crappie per day per man. There are no size limits on Reelfoot Lake.

   Bass: Good. The bass are spawning. They are being caught in the spawning areas 2-4' deep around pads, root wads, shallow trees.

   Catfish: Good. Some fish are being caught around logs and trees.

   Stripes: No Report
