reelfoot lake fishing report

Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
             July 25, 2014

SUMMER WEATHER RETURNS TO REELFOOT LAKE FISHING SCENE

Well Jack's back with another fishing report.

Water temperature is in the 80's. Lake level is a little above pool.

Things are slowing down but it's that time of year.

Crappie are a little slow but you can still catch a mess of them in deep water. Fish with minnows or jigs in10 to14 feet of water with your bait at 6 to 8 feet deep.

Blue Gill are also slow. What's being caught are spread out. The best bait are crickets in shallow water around 3 to 5 feet deep.

Catfish are still good on worms, stink bait, etc.

Bass are better than it was last month. Their being caught on spinner bait, Pig and Jigs, top water baits.

Well that's all for now. Have fun and be safe. Gone Fishing!!!
