     SUMMER STILL THE SEASON...FALL ON THE WAY...FISHING STILL PRETTY GOOD
 

Jackie Wayne's Back...it's time for another fishing report on Reelfoot Lake...Wood duck hunting was great today!...crappie are doing good too.

Long spell of hot and humid weather that has plagued lakers for the last two months.

Water temp is in the mid 80s...Lake level is a little below pool level.

Crappie are biting in 8 to12 feet of water...bait is minnows on double hook rigs.

 Bass....Fair: The ones biting are hitting spoons and spinner baits in 3 to 5 feet of water.

  Bluegill...Slow

Catfish are biting good around shallow trees on shad.
