Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for: Reelfoot Lake is 19" below summer pool level. Water temps are 75 to 78 degree range. Water conditions are good with slight green stain in color. The lake level is very low. Use caution when putting your boat in around the ramps and motoring across the lake Bluegill: No Report Crappie: Good: Some good fish are being caught in 10-15' water. Fish about 5'deep in 10' water and 10' deep in 15' water using minnows. Remember, the limit is 30 Crappie per day per man. There are no size limits on Reelfoot Lake. Bass: No Report Catfish: Good: The catfish are biting all over the lake around the shore, logs, trees and pads. Nightcrawlers, stink bait, cut shad, hotdogs, and chicken liver. Stripes: Good: The stripes are surfacing and biting on pin minnows around the shore line.
