Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
FALL BITE STILL
GOOD FOR CRAPPIE AND CATFISH
Lake level is at pool and a little above at this time. Crappie
fishing is good with jigs tipped with minnows, wax worms, or nibblets in
shallow water around trees and mule foot pads. Strike King tubes are
real good in shallow water. Black and chartreuse, pumpkin seed, red and
white colors while deep water fishing with minnows. Jig tubes by
Strike King tipped with minnows are great in 8' to 10' of water. Bass
Fishing is slow at this time. Some are being caught around mule foot
pads or Duck weed using spoons or spinner baits. Catfish are good in
around the trees in 3' to 6' of water with worms. Bluegill are real
slow. Yellow Bass are doing good this year. We are covered up with gray
ducks, teal, shovels and mallards so be sure to call your guides and get
