Surface temperatures responded to the warm spell earlier this week and
jumped to 54 to 56 degrees.
Crappie are in shallow water getting ready to spawn.
You need to fish in 4 to 6 feet of water at upper blue basin on double
minnow rigs, jigs tip with wax worms, or minnows.
Lower blue basin crappie are in 6 to 15 feet of water. They are being
taken on jigs tip with minnows or double minnow rigs.
Black crappie are in 2 to 4 feet of water are also doing better on jigs
tip with wax worms.
Bass are doing good on black and blue jigs at upper blue basin and in
the ditches...spinner baits also doing good on them big boys.
Blue Gill are still slow at this time..."sorry".
Catfish are biting great in the ditches, shore lines, and trees in 4 to
6 foot water.
