Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
March 4, 2014
STUBBORN WINTER WEATHER RETURNS
Its March and Jack's back with another fishing report.
Water temps are in the high 30's to 40's.
Crappie fishing is slow to good biting on minnows with double hook rigs
and also on jigs tipped with minnows or wax worms. The bite is at 8 feet
to12 feet of water. Shallow water is starting to pick up in the past few
days. The weather plays a big factor as we all know.
Bass is also slow. What's being caught is on spinner baits, fishing slow
in 3 to 6 feet of water. Catfishing is bad at this time and so is
bluegill.
We are all waiting on the weather to break. The only ones catching fish
right now are the strong, and tough ones. Weather hasn't stop them at
all. The next week or two the bite will pick up cold or not. So get your
equipment ready, go call and make your bookings for rooms, guides, etc.
To book call 731-431-9700 for your fishing needs. We will catch some
fish and I will teach you how to rig your equipment for Reelfoot lake
fishing.
Well that's all for now.
Be safe and have a great time at Reelfoot Lake Tennessee.
