Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report
April 23, 2018
READY TO PUT APRIL
IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR
Jackie Wayne's back with an April fishing report.
The nasty wind and weather continues.
Surface temperatures have been sluggish to climb out of the mid 50’s all
spring. Cold fronts are still influencing things.
Perhaps
this weekend and throughout next week will see a rebound.
Water temp is in the 50 to 55 degree range...lake level is a little
above pool.
Crappie...still doing good even with all the wind and rain. Trolling with jigs tip with minnows
...in about 6 to10 feet of water.
Bass...slow
Bluegill...slow...look for the bite to heat up with warmer temps.
Catfish...no report
Folks till next time be safe and have fun
...take a kid fishing!!!
Thanks and God Bless to all ....
