Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for: Reelfoot Lake is 6 - 8" above pool level, water temps are 80 to 83 degree range. Water color is clear to slightly stained all over the lake . Bluegill: Great! bluegill are being caught back on the beds fishing popeye jigs, crickets and wax worms. Crappie: Fair. Some are being caught in 6-12' water drifting minnows or jigs. Remember, the limit is 30 Crappie per day per man. There are no size limits on Reelfoot Lake. Bass: Good. Some nice size fish are being caught all over the lake around the ditches, shore, pads, root wads, and shallow trees. Catfish: Fair. The bite has been a little slow the last few days. Should pick back up any day. A few are being caught on the downside current ends of the ditches. Some are still being caught fishing Yo-Yo's around the trees. Stripes: No report Click
