Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for: Reelfoot Lake is 2.5 feet above pool level. High water at the lake is creating ideal fishing conditions. Water color is in good shape all over the lake. Surface temps this week were 74-76 degree range. Bluegill: Good: Bluegill continue to top the list as spawning phases have been at peak levels lately and good numbers and hefty fish continue to bite. The bite has been good around the pads and trees close to shore on crickets, jigs and wax worms. Crappie: Good: Many of the guides around the lake are having good days along with the locals. The crappie are biting good all over the lake. Baits of choice have been trolling double rigs with jigs tipped with minnows. Some fish are being caught jigging the shore and trees. Remember, the limit is 30 Crappie per day per man. There are no size limits on Reelfoot Lake.

continue to come in. Fish trees, ditches, logs, lily pads and grass
lines around the lake. Strike King 1/2 ounce Spinnerbaits in the Sexy
