Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report

    DESPITE SEVERAL HOT DAYS FISHING HOLDING UP GOOD

Jackie Wayne's Back with another fishing report on Reelfoot Lake...

Lake is a little above pool level and surface temp.
is in the 80's.

Crappie are in 8 to12' water. I have been doing best with jigs tip with minnows...color is chart...also double hook minnow rigs have done good.

 Bass are on shorelines hitting worms, spinner baits, buzz baits, shallow running crank baits...strike king 4s is my favorite on the shore lines.

 Blue gills are on the shore line spawning for the second time this year. Crickets are the best bait for the blue gills and catfish.

Shore line is also good for catfish around the grass on worms, stink bait, and cut shad.

Man I'm telling you Reelfoot is so beautiful right now.
