Tennessee hunters are now able to purchase color maps of some of the most popular wildlife management areas in the state, according to David Duval, Executive Director of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation.
The maps have been produced by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s (TWRA) Geographic Information Systems Division in Nashville and maps vary in size from 8.5" X 11" to 22" X 34" depending on the size of the WMA. The cost ranges from $1.25 to $6.
“The people in TWRA's Geographic Information Systems Division have done an outstanding job creating color maps that I expect will be very popular once our hunters learn about them," said Duval. "The Foundation is going to be handling the sale of the maps for TWRA."
Maps may be purchased in person at TWRA regional offices or ordered from the Foundation. Order forms can be obtained by calling the Foundation at (615) 831-3480 or by visiting the Foundation’s website at www.tnwildlifefoundation.org .
Checks or money orders must be sent to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation (or TWRF) at P.O. Box 110031, Nashville, TN 37222.
